Week 1
In PSHE we are looking at the theme ‘Living in the wider world’; this week exploring what community groups we belong to and people from that community group support us. In literacy we have begun to look at The Iron man by Ted Hughes. During our maths lessons the children have been exploring metric weight, converting between grams and kilograms. During history, the children learnt about The Black Death, what symptoms would have affected a person with the disease.
This week was the beginning of lent and our daily lent challenges, please see lent challenges under whole class pages for more information.
Friday was international day, Y4 worked with all the other children in their house in KS2 to learn about the following countries: Holland, New Zealand, Switzerland and Germany. Please see this page for photographs.
