This week we have been looking at traditional tales. The children and I have looked at many of the different features of a traditional tale and then tried to search for some of these within one.
We began our week in maths by looking at measuring. The children and I have carefully discussed the difference between measuring and weighing and also when it is most appropriate to chose the correct apparatus to measure in. We used some of the children's skills outside where they were using metre sticks to measure different lengths. Moving on from here we have used some of these skills in more problem based questions to develop our reasoning skills.
