Week 1
Maths
For our maths lessons this week we have focused on addition. We have looked at adding 10 more or less, adding in multiples of 10 and looking for inverse relationships between addition and subtraction.
Literacy
In Literacy this week we have focused our writing around the story of 'The Polar Bear Son'. We have done a lot of work on describing who we think the main characters are, and looking at some of the images to sequence and predict what we think the plot of the story will be.
PE
Year 2 practising some of their catching skills in crazy catch for our alternate PE lesson.
Brain Awareness
For our Brain Awareness tasks this term the children were looking and discussing the different kind of smart. In the pictures the children are discussing some of the different skills involved in each one.
