Week 1
It was nice to welcome the class back to school refreshed and raring to go! We welcome Kyhan and Mrs Saleem to our class, we hope they will be very happy at our school.
This week the children have been introduced to some of their new topics; some of these include the Egyptians and Brazil. In literacy the class have begun to explore explanation texts and in maths this week everyone has been looking at place value. In PE the children were excited about learning ball skills with the community coaches from Wycombe Wanderers.
Friday was brain awareness day; the focus was memory. The children looked at ways of remembering and then completed some posters. They also explored why they can remember certain logos and not others; they then designed their own logos. The children also played some memory games to implement some of the techniques of trying to remember things and store them into their short term memory.
