Week 1
The children returned to school after half term with some superb homework, we enjoyed listening to some presentations about cricket and looking at Viking boat models.
This week the children have been learning about how to convert fractions to decimals in maths. On Thursday, the children went into the playground to generate some times which we recorded to round the to the nearest whole number.
In PE, they enjoyed their first lesson of cricket with our visiting coach.
Friday, was our international day, where the children had the opportunity to work in their houses and experience learning about different countries, including USA, Russia, Italy and China. In the afternoon, the children learnt about Gambia and explored why some animals are endangered in West Africa.
