Week 2

World Book Week was a great success and the children shared books with each other, and their 'buddy' class, year 4. It was lovely to see the children read to each other and talk about their books.

Reception, year 1 and year 2 also wrote a silly story - reception wrote the beginning, year 1 the middle and year 2 the end. The silly bit was - nobody knew what each class had written till we read it in the afternoon!

I was really pleased with how hard the children worked in assessment week - they tried hard and gave it their all!

Year 1 and 2 also took part in a Multi-skills sports event. They participated enthusiastically and really enjoyed the activities.

The children wrote lovely letters for one of the Lent 40 Acts challenges to say thank you to the office and lunchtime staff.
