Week 2
Maths
In this weeks maths we have been learning about time. We have focused on reading to o'clock, half past, quart past and quarter to. For those who have grasped on well to this we have also looked at reading the time to the nearest 5 minutes.
Literacy
This week we have been reading the story of 'That Rabbit belong to Emily Brow' by Cressida Cowell. The children have thoroughly enjoyed reading the first half the story before they were asked to predict the ending. One of our lessons included asking some of the characters from the story good quality questions that would provide an explanation to the reader.
World Book Day
Poetry
The children have done really well to remember and perform their poems. We have really enjoyed listening to their fluency and expression too.
