Week 2
Literacy - We have had a fun filled week with drama and role play activities helping us to explore the character of Virgo. We read on in the book and wrote diary entries as if we were Virgo after she crash landed on Earth. We finished the week creating wanted posters with key information about Thanatos - the escaped prisoner.
Maths - We have looked at addition and subtraction this week. The children all did really well applying the methods and have worked hard to develop their reasoning and problem solving within this topic. A positive weeks learning from everyone!
In other news; the children enjoyed playing lacrosse in alternative PE, developed their passing skills in netball, wrote brilliant poems about the Ancient Greek gods, designed Greek pottery patterns and investigated the properties of everyday materials in science.
