Week 2
In Maths, we are finishing off place value to 20, by splitting numbers into tens and ones. In Literacy, we have begun a new topic on traditional tales, specifically 'The Three Little Pigs'. We have been learning the text by using pictures and creating actions.
In PE, we started our new indoor topic on multi-skills. The children practiced control the ball through bouncing and catching. We also started our new art topic called 'Colour Chaos' by looking at Piet Mondrian, and creating primary colour collages. The theme of Geography this half term is the four seasons. This week we looked at which months were in each season and therefore which season our birthdays are in.
