This week the children began looking at how adventure stories are written. we are reading the Hodgeheg so if your child comes home speaking in a strange way - don't panic! We had fun playing around with words - swapping vowels and first letters to create new names.
In maths we have mastered the art of expanded addition and some children are using the compact method really well now. the next step is to apply it when solving problems. We explored and investigated whether adding palindromic numbers will always give a palindrome - it doesn't!
In history this week we linked art research to everyday Egyptian life and also looked at the hierarchy of Egyptian society. We wrote job adverts, which we will edit next week.
