Week 2
Another busy week in Eagles class.
In maths, we have been developing our addition and subtraction knowledge, particularly learning how to using rounding numbers to check our calculations.
We have been dreaming in literacy this week, using the BFG to help us think about what strange and wonderful dreams we could have. We seem to have featured in some of these dreams, for example, where we have drown in an ice cream sundae - fortunately we were rescued by Mia N eating the sudae to save us!
On Friday, Mrs Stewart had arranged a 'Walk to School' assembly, which was to remind us about how important it is for our own health and for the environment, to walk / cycle to school (or even perhaps park and stride). During this assembly, Davy was announced as a winner of the Key Stage 2 poetry walk to school competition for Buckinghamshire. We are all very proud of Davy's achievement - well done!
