This week the children had a great time re-telling traditional tales from another viewpoint. We set up a courtroom and put Miss A Wolf on trial. The prosecutor was ruthless in her questioning and Miss Wolf’s defence lawyer did his best to put her case.
Witnesses, including the surviving Little Pig, passers-by and refuse collectors (who found VERY incriminating evidence in the bins!) gave their accounts of the events and the jury considered all the evidence before reaching their verdict.
Judge J kept order in the court, (even removing two rowdy witnesses) delivered the sentence and Miss A Wolf was sent to prison for two whole weeks!
It was super to see the children so animated and involved and I am looking forward to their writing about it next week.
We also began our fire engines...
