Week 3
Assessment week. They all worked SO hard and I am proud of the way the children cooed with the change of routine. It was also Anti- bullying week and the children made some lovely posters.
As well as the tests they also retold the Gruffalo story and have asked for the Gruffalo Rap link to be put on this page, so have a listen.
In geography they visited Australia and listened to didgeridoo and opera music - quite a range in styles.
In science, they were autumn scavengers and had to look for signs of autumn in the playground - looking for flowers, berries, bird and sounds.
The week ended with Children in Need day and there was a fine range of things beginning with ‘P’. Year 1 had a winner too - guessing 44 chocolates in the jar 😁
