Week 3

Welcome back! 😊

It was wonderful to see all the children return to school this week and I am proud of how most of them have settled back into the routines of the day. On Monday, we spent the day exploring our feelings and emotions, as well as playing some fun games together in the playground.

In literacy, the children have continued to look at letter writing through our class book Peter Pan. Shape was the theme in maths this week; the children have tried constructing their own 3D shapes out of sticks and blue tac.

Among other lessons, Mr Burgin has continued to work with the children in DT and they have been busy making their own packaging.

Finally, the focus of all PE and games this week has been physical activity and playground games. The class enjoyed running the mile and most of them completed it, with some even wanting to run further!

The children have done well this week and have earned a well deserved rest from school over the weekend.

Wishing you all a good weekend.
