Week 3
In Literacy this week we have been writing instructions based on the Greek myth Medusa. The children have investigated the different features of instructions and then written sentences to show good examples. They then wrote instructions on how to defeat Medusa.
In Maths we have revisited time and focused on problem solving. Great work from everyone!!
In other areas; dance rehearsals for the Christmas performance have continued and the children have picked the routines up very quickly, we have written letters to our local MP asking him to reduce the speed limit in residential areas to 20mph and created "No need for speed posters!" as part of Road Safety Week, we have discussed bullying and created a class jigsaw to represent "United in Friendship" as part of Friendship week, compared climate and weather in Greece to England, conducted market research for our biscuits in DT and learnt set shots in volleyball.
