Week 3
In Literacy we have started our new class text - The Midnight Fox. The children are enjoying the book so far and have had some brilliant discussions about the characters and plot. They have created freeze frames, explored choices the characters have made and written a letter in role as the main character.
Maths has been challenging this week - we have focused on multiplication and division. We have been applying our times tables knowledge to help us with our calculations and making sure we check our work for mistakes. We did some exploring with prime numbers and worked together to solve and investigate discussion problems.
In other news; we created our own versions of John Constable's paintings, explored bodies of water through art, adapted snakes and ladders games to represent Karma, sent messages using morse code, worked on fielding techniques and developed our accuracy with our throwing and had a brilliant BIG QUESTION session with Simon from St Andrews.
