Week 3
This week has been assessment week so the children have spent the mornings working hard on their assessments. They have all focused and done a great job. They wrote information texts about High Wycombe and narrative pieces using The Secret Garden for inspiration.
In the afternoons we continued with our other subjects; in Geography we compared the UK's water usage with Kenya's, in DT we built and tested truss designs for our bridges, we researched and presented Famous examples of people showing commitment to God, we continued to work on our running skills in Athletics which was great preparation for Sports week next week and in Science we investigated: The larger the mammal the longer the gestation period.
