week 3
The children had a great day at the British Museum - despite a long coach journey! They explored Egypt and Roman Britain and were fascinated by the mummies and coffins. They were also impressed by the jewellery and beautiful artefacts found in excavations.
The children were able to handle real Roman coins and earthenware pots.
Thank you to the parent helpers for their patience and for answering a barrage of questions!

On the hottest day of the year,☀️ Y3 took part in a tennis festival 🎾with 4 other schools. They really tried their best, learnt lots of new skills and made some new friends. They all remembered to keep hydrated and behaved really well - good job guys 😎
