Week 4
In literacy - this is our last week on myths. After adapting and planning their own version of a myth they wrote one or two sections of their plan each day. Some really good work and brilliant myths written by everyone.
In maths we are revisiting and building on our multiplication an division skills. Lots of the children find this challenging but they worked really hard and were determined to complete the challenges.
In other news:
The children did some excellent cross curricular writing with a diary entry after being stranded on a desert island. They used their knowledge form our science lessons to include information on finding water, food and shelter. We had 2 football lessons with a coach working on team work and passing skills, researched and wrote facts about Julius Caesar and his attempts to invade Britain, looked at the human geography in South America and designed borders for our Roman mosaics.
