Another busy week!
In Maths, the children have been learning about position and direction, which included reading co-ordinates. Our final literacy topic of the term is poetry. The children have been writing Cinquain poems.
During science this week, the children did an experiment to see how long ice took to melt in different places in our classroom. This helped us discover where the coolest parts of the classroom were.
Wednesday was our last swimming lesson, the teachers assessed the children’s progress and then some of them had chance to have some fun playing with floats in the water! On Friday, during achievement assembly, all the children received their swim certificates. I was very proud of all the children, they have all progressed well and grown in confidence in the water.
Tomorrow is is the Christmas fair, we hope that you will be able to join us and support the fundraising for our school.
have a good weekend!
