Week 4
Literacy
In Literacy, we have continued to make our focus cross curricular on our Geography topic of 'Wish you were here.' The children having been using more of the vocabulary associated with coastlines and reading a variety of fictional books to to support them. They have been looking at recipes and their features before they have practised writing their own recipe for the ideal sandwich to take to the beach.
Maths
Our focus in maths this week has been multiplication. We have familiarised ourselves with a lot of the maths vocabulary; times, lots of groups, groups of, multiplied, product. The children have practised making 'groups of' and arranging arrays from a total amount.
PE
The children have been thoroughly enjoying out Cricket topic in PE. We have really focused on some of their social awareness skills and their throwing skills.
