Week 4
This week the children have begun to look at Calligram poems in literacy and develop their understanding of fractions in maths. In PE, the children had an opportunity to experience throwing and catching in a lacrosse lesson.
In our our clergy worship assembly the children reflected upon the wondering question: I wonder if we can show peace in a storm. They came up with lots of ideas, including making friends and forgiving, always knowing God will be with you.
The children have heard the first chapter of the Twits and will begin to produce some written work inspired by the book over the next few weeks.
