Week 4

This week the children have enjoyed another games lesson delivered by the Wycombe Wanderers Community coaches. In PE, Y3s took part in a virtual hockey skills competition for Bucks and Milton Keynes schools - we will let you know how we got on in due course.

In French, the children have been learning about colours and in Geography the children have been developing their knowledge of the Amazon rainforest. Our literacy theme, linked in with the Amazon rainforest, as the children wrote persuasive speeches about saving The Great Kaypok Tree and then shared these later on in the week. Mrs Hawkins came and listened to some of the speeches, she was very impressed with how confidently they spoke and the persuasive techniques they used. Please see our photos for some examples.

In maths, the class developed their knowledge of division before embarking on fractions next week.

Have a great weekend!
