Week 4
In Literacy we have spent the week looking at figurative language used in The Midnight Fox. The children identified examples in the text and came up with their own ideas before using them to write a poem.
In Maths we had another go at multiplying fractions and upped the difficulty everyday. The children did a great job and remained positive even when they found it tricky.
In other subjects; we used then and now pictures of High Wycombe to create a black and white/colour picture, we looked at the Earths rotations and time zones around the world, we found and labeled significant bodies of water around the world, started testing our skills in a game of rounders (before rain stopped play), painted in the style of John Constable and wrote stories to show our understanding of karma.
