Week 4
Maths
This week we have been focusing on shape. One of the areas we learnt and explored about was if 2D shapes were symmetrical. We used equipment to see how shapes and patterns should be symmetrical and tried to draw their other equal part.
Literacy
We have been looking at a few pages from the book ‘Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World.’ It was very interesting to explore some of the features of this book and explore some of its technical vocabulary. We used dictionaries to explore some meanings and try to apply into some of our independent writing.
REAL PE
Since the weather has been improving it was a great opportunity to do PE outside again. The children were using balls in a pair and considering using some of their balance and movement skills to transfer balls.
