Autumn Week 4
Maths
This week in maths we have been focusing on written methods for addition: adding integers and decimal numbers.
Literacy
This week in literacy we have been learning about apostrophes and noun phrases, all linked into Cogheart. In cross curricular writing we had to imagine we were a Victorian child and had to write a diary about our day down the mine, up a chimney or in a factory.
Other Subjects
In geography we have continued to study rivers, focusing on waterfalls and gorges.
In history we learnt about about Victorian Life.
Science we continued to classify different animals.
PE
This week was our games session was still with Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. We also played throw tennis on Wednesday, outside in the September sunshine.
