Week 4

Wow what a busy week - we've managed to cram so much in!

We've been very active this week: we have had our final session with WWFC and played football matches to apply all the skills we had learnt. We also took part in a school's Common Wealth competition where we had to see how many hoops we could score in a set amount of time; these results have been recorded on a national schools database - hopefully we will find out soon where we have placed. Well done to Daniel, Tylon and Sam for scoring the most points - their result was put forward to represent HWCE.

We also had our final dance lesson in preparation for our performance on Monday - we are all looking forward to showing you our routine!

On Tuesday, we had Science Day and part of that was to complete an Eco Project (the class voted for litter). We went up to Tom Burt's Hill and filled a black sack full of rubbish! We will carry out more litter picking over the rest of the academic year. We also learnt about water and air resistance and had fun with bubbles, water and clay.
