This week the children had Godly Play; the photos will be uploaded very soon. They also had a whistle-stop tour of Carnival do Brasil and wrote some great newspaper articles describing the sights and sounds of carnival. It was great to see children using their plans to help them keep on track.
Maths was really fun - they investigated number patterns and sequences and used negative numbers without even knowing it!
In History, the children learned about the growing seasons in Ancient Egypt, and how flooding was crucial to growing crops. They also found out that the Nile was (and is) so important for food, homes, clothes and trade.
We are now all looking forward to an action-packed week for Healthy Heroes!
