Week 4
Another busy week for Year two! We started off by sharing our work to the school and I can’t tell you how proud I am of the way the children quickly got to grips with it! They spoke up clearly and even performed their Trial of Miss A Wolf.
We have worked really hard in maths on division - grouping things and using number lines to solve problems. We discovered we need to know our times tables to divide.
Some children have made fantastic efforts in reading, spelling and handwriting, it’s starting to show in their work.
We wrote letters as Florence Nightingale, asking for supplies for the hospital in Scutari and used lots of adjectives and commas.
