Week 5
We are still looking at play scripts in literacy. The children are becoming more confident at writing scripts and this week they had a go at writing the final scene for Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.
Fractions were harder this week so we had some practical lessons outdoors in order to help everyone understand. We practiced sharing objects and creating visual representations for the fractions. Everyone kept trying and their effort towards their learning was brilliant.
In other subjects; we have been fishing with magnets and investigating metals in science, working on our basketball skills and supporting each other in PE, drawing eyes in art and discovering "fashion" in the Stone Age - we didn't find any outfits that anyone would be happy to wear these days but it was interesting all the same.
The children have done some fantastic homework this week and have clearly put lots of effort into their work. Well done.
