Week 5
In Literacy we have started to look further at adventure stories. We looked at the features and characteristics and then wrote setting descriptions based on Elysium - a setting from our class text.
In Maths we have continued to look at fractions - the children investigated equivalent fractions and ways to compare and order fractions with different denominators.
In other subjects, we had another session with the netball coach working on shooting - great progress made by all, wrote newspaper reports about the Battle of Marathon, made our Greek pots out of clay which was very messy, (sorry if there was any on the uniforms) but the children had great fun, investigated separating materials in Science and worked on our social skills in Real PE and PSHE.
