Week 5

We have been very busy in other subjects too: In Design & Technology, we have started building our models of Anderson Shelters (photos next week!); we have been learning about multiplying and dividing with decimals in Maths; in PSHE we talked about friendships and the best way that we may sometimes need to change the type of friendship we have with someone; in R.E. we looked at the things that are most important in a Muslim's life to help them be a good Muslim; in French, we have been learning how to ask for directions to get to various places in town and in Geography, we learnt about the different parts of a volcano.

Hopefully, there will be more photographs to see next week!

In PE - we developed our own version of 'benchball' and started playing our class' house competition. It was great fun.

In Literacy, we have started to write our own narrative poems based on the rhythm and rhyming pattern of The Highwayman and using characters we have created. These examples of earlier work in the unit were shared with other teachers this week.

In PE/Games, we continued practising techniques to learn how to do the high jump in athletics.
