Week 5
This week we have finished our Maths topic by looking at subtraction. Next week, we will move onto exploring 2D and 3D shapes. In Literacy, we have started a new book called 'The Jolly Postman' by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. We have been looking at the features of letters this week, with the children writing a letter to Father Christmas showing what they have learnt.
In DT, we have continued with our moving pictures topic. This week the children had a go at making pop up cards. It was well enjoyed and showed some really great teamwork- helping those who were struggling. We have also been making steady progress on our Vision project- Christmas cards for children at Wycombe Hospital- which we hope to finish soon and send off.
We have also started practising Christmas Carols this week ready for the carol service next week.
