This week in maths we grappled with time and tried so hard to remember what the big hand shows! We are nearly there but the more practice at home you can do, the better.
In literacy we pretended to be time travellers, on a school trip to the seaside in 1900. The children know a lot about what people did then and the writing is interesting. We also researched Roald Dahl and found out lots of facts about him - he loved chocolate but not chocolate cake or ice cream! We had an interesting discussion about how we know things are old and the children said “black and white pictures “. So I am including a selection of “old” pictures this week!
Friday saw lots of excitement with our wedding celebrations and we had scones to celebrate, we even had our own wedding with all the royals attending. The children looked fantastic in their outfits- they certainly scrub up well!
