Week 6
Still continuing with play scripts in Literacy. We focused on improving our stage directions. After writing our scenes we acted some of them out to see where we needed to add more direction. We then moved on to improving the first scene of Goldilocks and the three bears before continuing the script ourselves.
In Maths lessons we were working with money. We looked at the values of the coins then moved on to adding and subtracting amounts. We then used this learning to work out the total cost of numerous items and the change from selected amounts.
In other areas; we learnt new skills for defending and attacking in basketball, experimented with the strength of magnets in Science, sketched lips during Art, discovered the features of prehistoric beasts in History, looked at Hindu celebrations in RE and continued with our crazy fish tanks in computing.
