Week 6
PE
Congratulations to Surfers who have won this terms class competition. We have worked hard with our netball skills, where we particularly focused on our pivoting skills for our class competition this term.
Literacy
In Literacy we have been looking at poetry and linked it to our Geography topic this term of Hot and Cold Climates. We focused on some poems which focus on the cold and discussed the importance and impact of performance poetry. The children then went away and had a choices of several poems to try and learn. They have all done absolutely fantastically!
In Maths this week we have continued to look at fractions. We have focused our learning on unit and non unit fractions but have also been able to dive deeper to trying to calculate 3/4 of a whole amount.
