Week 6
Our stories are coming along nicely in Literacy, with wonderful descriptive pieces being produced.
In Maths we have moved on to comparing and classifying shapes, and did some practical sorting to identify similarities, differences and different groups that could be made of shapes.
In Art we have produced our own pop-art pieces inspired by Andy Warhol, and have pop-art-ified our portraits!
In PE it was class competition time - congratulations to Skaters who won the competition who worked fantastically as a team!
We also delivered speeches to the class about an influential figure to mark Black History Month. The children did thorough research and chose a wide variety of influences so we learnt a lot from one another!
