Week 6
The children have enjoyed writing this week in Literacy. They have plotted our class text onto a story mountain and then come up with their own ideas of how the story will continue. They have planned and written the resolution to the story and come up wiht some excellent ideas to keep the excitement of the book going.
In Maths, they have been revisiting and extending their knowledge of 3D shapes. We looked at properties and 2D representations before challenging ourselves with investigations and reasoning to show our understanding.
In other subjects...
We have written a recipe for a Hoplite Soldier, investigated dissolving in Science, encouraged each other in Real PE during team games, researched famous Black people from history, performed our Black History month speeches (these were excellent and the children did an amazing job), painted our Greek pots and had another fun filled and slightly wet lesson with the netball coach.
