Week 6
Literacy
In Literacy this week we have been looking at newspaper reports. The children worked hard at labelling some of the different features when we explored newspaper articles about The Gruffalo and how strange creatures were spotted. Later in the week the children wrote their own newspaper article about their experiences of visiting the church at our whole school Harvest Festival.
Maths
In maths this week our focus has been money. We have worked on identifying the different coins, adding them up and how to make a value. The children practised adding up notes of money on a number line.
