Week 6
Another week has flown by in year two.
We started the week by finishing final drafts of our instructions and what wonderful pieces these were. The children have loved using their imaginations to write some rather grotesquely unique pieces with a fabulous display of their understanding of instructional features. Although I’m not sure I’ll be rushing to try any of their recipes soon!
Maths has been all about fractions. We really grasped halves and quarters but were somewhat challenged with thirds! More fractions next week....
In RE we are coming to the end of our unit about the Passover. In Real PE we were developing our ball skills through story challenges and worked really well together. In Computing we are continuing our unit ‘we are photographers’ and have been developing our ability to import and edit photos.
