Week 7
In Literacy this week the children have been building up to write an explanation text. We have been reading the story Pirate Blunderbeard and exploring one of his inventions that he made. We labelled it with technical vocabulary but also used time connectives to sequence our writing and subordinated conjunctions to explain how each step of the invention worked.
Maths
This week we have been focusing on fractions. We have looked at equivalent fractions of 1/2 and 2/4 but also finding 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 of an amount.

Judaism Workshop
We really enjoyed our visit from Rabbi Zvi. He talked about the creation of the world, Jewish traditions and brought a Seder plate to show and share with us in class.
