Week 7
We had a wonderful final week and few days at school this term.
We finished our literacy unit on alternative fairy tales by creating our own plots with a twist. There are some fabulous authors in Year Two with one budding writer asking if their creation would actually taken to the publisher! I have told the children that I very much look forward to seeing their first book on the shelf in Waterstones in the future!
We continued to challenge ourselves with consolidating our knowledge of place value in maths.
Lots of Christmas excitement was in the air as we created cards, crafts and poems, ate our Christmas meal, partied to the sound of Christmas music and of course finished the hysteria with the teachers being a little bit silly themselves!
