Week 7
Maths
For our final week of maths and before Christmas we were recapping place value. The children were great at recognising the value of a 2 digit number. We also tried to represent these in a number of different ways. For example on a number line, using dienes, writing it in words, writing a problem solving question and making an amount with money.
Literacy
At the beginning of the week we wrote poems about Christmas. We tried to focus on rhyming and the words associated with Christmas. Afterwards the children worked hard to edit their writing before writing our final draft to be published in Christmas cards.

Fire engines
All of the children have done a fantastic job to complete their moving fire engines this week.
Thank you so much to Mrs Russell, Mrs Norris and Mrs Seyi-Akinla for coming in to help and assist the children with these projects. We couldn't of done it without you.
