Autumn Week 9
Maths
In maths this week we have focussed on fractions.
Literacy
We have started to read our new class reader, Street Child. We have investigated the first chapter and made predictions for what we think may happen in the book.
Other Subjects
In geography we have moved on to study coastal features and how they are formed.
In history we learnt about about Victorian Life and had to write a poem to describe a Victorian child.
Science we continued to classify different animals.
It was also International Day on Friday. We investigated Canada and South Africa
PE
This week we undertook a Cricket Competition for the school games mark. We competed virtually against other schools in the High Wycombe area.
