Thank you so much to all of you who brought in pennies on Friday for Children in Need. In a special assembly we learnt all about the children and organisations that the money we raised will go directly to. We dressed a giant Pudsey with our coins but had so many left over we were able to spell out Children in Need with the coins too!
Thank you again and well done everyone!
Mrs Waldron
On Friday 20th November schools from all over the country will be participating in a variety of fundraising events for Children in Need.
The charity’s mission is to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Their vision is a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realise their potential.
We have decided to ask for coin donations. Collecting tins will be in every classroon and we are going to use them to dress a giant Pudsey bear!
For more information about what is happening all over the UK on 20th November please go to the Children in Need website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/
Thank you very much in advance for your support of this very worthwhile cause.
Mrs Waldron
