  • Optional Early Closing - Wednesday 23rd June

    Tue 22 Jun 2010
We are closing school tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd June) at 2.45p.m to allow children time to get home to watch the England game.  Every child was sent home with a newletter giving further details - apologies the website was down during school hours today so the letter could not be uploaded.  We will be having half an hour for lunchtime to make up this time.  If you wish your child to stay at school until normal time (3.15p.m) please complete the slip on the letter sent home.  Mr. Philips will open the car park for permit holders at 2.30p.m.
  • Children shine in annual night of music!

    Wed 16 Jun 2010

Last Tuesday evening the school was treated to a musical extravaganza - including performances from children, parents and past pupils! The audience was rightly impressed by the efforts of all involved - special thanks to Mrs Venvell for all her hard work in organising the event, all our peripatetic music teachers and to the parents for bravely taking part.

A highlight of the evening was the brilliantly entertaining performance from the talented Harkcom family - many thanks - you will be missed!

I think I speak for everyone who was able to come when I say how lovely it was to see the huge beaming smile on the children's faces when they took a bow at the end of their perfomances they were proud of themselves and rightly so!

Another memorable moment was the grand finale in which everyone with an instrument in their hands took to the stage from Grannies and Grandads to little ones not yet at school - it was lovely to watch.

For those of you who missed the evening please see below for photos and videos of all the performers.

    Well done everybody!
