• Ground Force Day - Saturday 1st October

  I would like to say a huge thank you to those parents who were able to come and help on Saturday. It was a small band of helpers who worked incredibly hard. Mr Crawshaw coordinated the tasks and we managed to achieve most of the items on the list:

   

  Playgrounds -  fencing painted, white wall painted, quiet area fencing painted, infant wall painted.

   

  Millenium Garden – pond cleared and tidied, sleepers completed and dug over ready for flower beds, the steps by the pond reset and repaired.

   

  Front and back of school – steps painted and flower bed weeded

   

  Minibus washed and polished

   

  Thank you also to Mrs Wright for providing the refreshments and Mrs Crawshaw for providing lunch these were greatly received on what proved to be an extremely hot day.  

   

  I am sure you will agree that the school looks fantastic. When we advertise the next event it would be great if more of you could try to attend as the benefits to the children and everyone who utilises the school site are greatly enhanced through this sort of support.
