Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On Friday 18th March all staff and pupils wore their pyjamas to school to raise money for Comic Relief.
It's was a day like no other when the whole country got together to do something funny for money and change countless lives in the process. Red Nose Day was our chance to help transform the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the UK and Africa. From restoring the sight of children in Africa to giving isolated older people in the UK the support they need to enjoy their lives – your cash can do all this and much, much more.
We were amazed by the generosity of everyone involved and would like to thank you all for doing something funny for money by wearing your pyjamas to school and making a donation to this worthy cause.
In total we managed to raise £315.20 for this fantastic cause.
Take a look below at us enjoying our daily activities in our pyjamas.
Thank you again for your support.
Yesterday the school was filled with a vast array of characters as we brought books to life! From Paddington to Pirates, Rapunzel to Rabbits, the sheer inventiveness of costumes really stood out. Throughout the day each class explored books and authors from around the world. Reception class read The Magic Paintbrush (from Japan), Year 1 read the traditional tale of Sambalele (from Brazil), and Year 3 read 'Sugarcane Rapunzel' (Africa). Thank you very much to everyone for all your support of the day - it was such fun!
